Views of the Course

Mitchelstown Golf Club, set in the heart of the Blackwater Valley, is a delightful golfing experience for both the beginner and the experienced golfer alike. And while the course, at 5773 metres, is neither long nor hilly, strategically placed sand bunkers will entice you to play accurate golf. We guarantee that the well played shot will always be rewarded, but be forewarned that the odd stray shot will definitely be penalised.

This beautiful setting offers panoramic scenes of the nearby Galtee Mountains, and unspoilt views of the Blackwater Valley. The visiting golfer can enjoy the combined features of mature woodland, gently undulating natural parkland, lake, river, and mountains. Some of our new sand-based greens, nestling on the banks of the gently flowing River Funshion, have added what we believe is an " Amen Corner " type dimension to this spectacular setting.

When you have completed your round, we would love to meet you at the 19th.
